1988 USA Fender Vintage '62 reissue black over fiesta red
Don't see these very often.
Check out the fiesta red peeking thru the black where the arm wear is. Very cool huh? 9.5 condition!
You can see the fiesta red in the screw holes too. Not as uncommon as you might think. When someone messed up a finish during production, Fender would just shoot another color over the top. I also have a Fiesta Red over Sunburst Stratocaster.
100% original. Pot codes are 32nd week of 1988. V0369XX OHSC. Super nice player and great sounding pickups. This one has the very rare fat neck. 8 lb 1/2oz of super resonant tone. Even unplugged this one is loud! Amazing tone! Neck date 13 April 8. Pots all date to 32nd week of 1988.
