Gibson es-347 is like a 335 with the following factory Gibson upgrades: Ebony fretboard, brass nut, sustain sisters anchors for the bridge and TP6 tailpiece with the violin fine tuners. The pickups are the tar back Dirty Fingers that are the hottest pickups Gibson ever made. Despite the name and the hotness, these pickups are clean and clear making this guitar have many sound charachteristics of a Stienway Grand piano. This guitar also has factory installed coil splitting so each humbucker can be played as a single coil giving you 6 distinctive and usefull sounds. My favorite Gibson is my es347 that I do not have up on the website for sale because I could never part with it. Best playing and sounding guitar I have ever owned. So when I got the chance to get this one I could not pass it up. This 347 has been played and shows evidence of having stickers and plenty of scratches and swirls in the finish. A little wear spot on the back of the neck and a little fret wear shows this guitar was played. The fact it is still 100% original shows who ever played it was satisfied with the sound. Who would'nt be? I wish every guitar played just like this one. Kalamazoo quality big time. |
Comes with non original much newer all black inside and out hardshell case in like new condition.
