1978 Fender Telecaster in custom color black

Yee HA! Hold onto your cowboy hat buckaroos. This here is one magic twang machine. It is very hard to find a nice Telecaster used. Nobody wants to sell their baby. This one is very special. Boy howdy does she play nice. Very twangy sounding even unplugged. Nut has been changed to brass but no wood was removed so it would be easy to put back to stock. The brass nut sounds and works so good you may want to leave it as is. Custom colors are very sought after. This nitro black finish is covered in finish checking. Man is this one twangy. Comes with original warranty card and a stack of music store receipts from 1980 from the original owner. Great condition shows this guitar was lovingly taken care of by. Frets show little wear. Very hot pickups really sing on this one. Medium size neck. Telecasters of this era are notoriously heavy. This one is a very comfortable 8lb 1/2oz of unusually resonant guitar. When I got this guitar the original owner had replaced the original bridge with a brass aftermarket. Fortunately I found an original bridge on Ebay and put it back on.

OHSC and some case candy including original warranty card. There is also a stack of receipts from the original owner documenting the brass nut and the previous brass bridge. He added those in 1981. All of the receipts are from 1980 to 1981 including what appears to be a mid 60's Gibson ES 335 he bought for $500. All from Music City in San Francisco CA.
Here is a YouTube video of me playing this guitar trough a 1968 Fender Super Reverb with original factory JBL D 110F speakers and a 1970 Fender Vibrolux Reverb through a 2X15" JBL D130F speakers. I am using a Line 6 Delay set on rhythmic delay.
