1977 Gibson SG Standard factory double pickguard "Batman guitar" SOLD

100% original and in mighty fine condition 1977 Gibson SG Deluxe Standard. These guitars are super players with thin necks and low fast action. Light weight comfortable body. All the benefits of a Les Paul and half the weight. Solid mahogany one piece body and three piece mahogany neck. Very hard to find in this condition, with the factory stop tail piece (Gibson made some funky tremolo versions), top of the line Gibson tuners, STILL red (most turn brown after 20 years) and with the double pickguards. Tell me it does not look cool. Looks like Batman's guitar! How often do you see one of these? Johnny Cash, Don Everly, and Lester Flat all had custom ordered double pickguards. Very cool and practical. Back in the Kalamazoo days you could call and order practically anything you could think of. Double pickguards show up every now and then. This is one of those guitars that is a total blast to play. 7 lb 10.5 oz
