1974 USA Gibson (made in Kalamazoo, MI) SG Custom
You all know how long I have been looking for one of these. The SG Custom is the SG version of the Les Paul Custom. Big headstock with binding, ebony fretboard, stop tailpiece, one piece solid mahogany body, and three T-Top Humbuckers. This one has the "harmonica" bridge that was common back then. . Appears to have new frets and nut. What makes these so hard to find is the fact that they break easily. Over the years I have learned the first thing to look at is for a headstock repair behind the nut. To find one in this kind of condition shows that it was lovingly taken care of. No "mods" were needed on an already perfect guitar.
