1974 Gibson J45 Deluxe

1974 Gibson J-45 Deluxe with factory Grover tuners and double pickguards.  One of the nicest J-45s I have ever played.  Kalamazoo quality is very evident in this fine example.  The best part is how well it plays and how great it sounds.  All up and down the neck the action is low with no buzzing.  Plays like an electric guitar neck.  The back and side wood is as nice as mahogany gets.  Tortoise shell binding and the rare factory double pickguards put this J-45 over the top.  How many J-45s do you see with Grover tuners or double pickguards?  This guitar has both.  Unusually good condition for a  36 year old guitar.  There is a little arm wear in the finish only and some stand burn on the back of the neck from sitting in a guitar stand that reacted with the finish.  Pickup installed under the saddle.  There is a SECOND stamp on the back of the headstock indicating a flaw in the original finish.  You would never spot it now.  Original case is in great condition inside and out.  One missing latch.
