Super sweet example of a classic Gibson Blue Ridge Custom

This guitar was lovingly taken care of. Don't see many this nice.

Top is flat, bridge is tight with room to lower the action. This Kalamazoo made guitar shows very high quality workmanship. Gibson Deluxe factory tuners. Bookmatched spruce top and solid (not plywood or laminate) Indian rosewood back and sides. Cool binding front and back. Beautiful blonde finish has turned a darker pumpkin color and looks fantastic. There is a lot of cross grain on the spruce and is very impressive.. Tiny scratches, no big dings.

Very good tone out of this one. Nice and bright. Loud and full. Great sustain. Guitar really rings. 5 lbs. 1/2 oz.

Most Blueridge Gibsons had spruce tops and laminated back and sides. A very few were solid tonewoods. This is one of the guitars made with solid Indian rosewood. You can see it inside. The laminants were maple inside.
