1972 Gibson SG with factory Grover tuners and Gibson tremolo

This is a very special Gibson SG made in 1972. Dark brown walnut finish. Gibson put their logo on the pickup covers from mid 1971 to mid 1972. There were a few other details unique to this year. Like the floating Les Paul style pickguard and the "large humbuckers". This very cool all original but the nut example also has factory installed Grover tuners that are stamped both Gibson and Grover, and a very cool Bigsby style Gibson tremolo. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Fancy pearl fret markers. Nut looks newer. Frets are in great shape showing little wear. Great player. Very thin neck. I doubt you will find one smaller. Very nice sounding pickups. No breaks or repairs. Gibson only made 260 SGs between 1972 and 1986 with tremolos.
