1970 Gibson SG Standard

One owner 1970 Gibson SG Standard. Still bright cherry red and shiny! Extremely clean example of an early SG Standard. Very fast thin neck. 1 9/16 at the nut. 100% original down to the screws. The only pot code we can read says 1969, but the neck volute and the Made In The USA makes this a 1970. This guitar was lovingly taken care of for it's entire 41 years. Even the square Gibson case is in good condition WITH the original handle. Very light at only 6lb 15 oz. Very lively acoustically. Super low action with no buzzes. Original frets show very little wear. Original stop factory tail piece. No breaks or repairs on this guitar. Case is near new condition. I talked with the owner of the past 35 years and he said he was fanatical about polishing and keeping the guitar clean. He was always aware of buttons, snaps, and zippers when he played it. One night a microphone stand fell and put a scratch on the front. Other than that this guitar is in remarkable condition. Very sweet. The seller's wife drove the guitar to me from Kansas City to make sure it arrived safely. It is a very special guitar.
