Super sweet example of a classic Gibson J45 Deluxe. Unusually good shape for a 40 year old guitar. This guitar was lovingly taken care of. Don't see many this nice. Top is flat, bridge is tight plenty of room to lower the action. This Kalamazoo made guitar shows very high quality workmanship. Gibson Deluxe factory tuners. Bookmatched spruce top and bookmatched mahogany back and sides. Cool toroise shell binding front and back. Beautiful cherry sunburst finish. Tiny scratches, no big dings. Fantastic shape considering the age. Very light at only 4 pounds 4 1/2 oz. Very good tone out of this one. Nice and bright. Loud and full. Great sustain. Guitar really rings. Feather weight at a mere 4 pounds 4.5oz. The serial number indicates manufacture anywhere between 1971 and 1974. |
$2,850.00 SOLD w/OHSC is missing one foot on bottom, and has a replaced handle. Otherwise in great shape. |
