How often do you get to see one of these? Rare to find one with original factory installed Fender Bigsby vibrato system on a great condition SUPER Telecaster. This appears to be a mostly original July 1968 USA Telecaster with factory 'F' Bigsby tremolo in rare Olympic white with matching head stock. Guitar is in fantastic condition for being 43 years old! Everyone who plays it falls instantly in love!
This guitar plays and sounds better than any other Tele I have ever owned. This is one of the best refinished guitars I have ever seen. It takes an expert to tell. Looks like the radius might have been flattened out a little, and a perfect refret with slightly larger frets with hardly any wear. The bridge pick up is not original to the guitar but the bridge pick up sounds perfect as perfect can be. Super low action and fast neck are easy to play. Intonation is unbelievably accurate all up and down the neck. Guitar is very light at 7lb 11oz. Currently has vintage Schaller tuners but the original F tuners are included. Also original bridge cover on original bridge. |
